I still can’t believe what was going on in Zell Am See last weekend. It felt like I was in a dream, a very good one. Ward, Saëns and I (and our loved ones) travelled to Austria for the GP ice Race.
I love waking up at 3 o’clock in the morning, It’s still dark outside and most of the people are asleep, so calm. I’m not sure my travel companies enjoyed it as much as I did because they all looked really grumpy. Anyway, we left at 4 o’clock towards Hohenwerfen near Salzburg, where my sister lives at the castle. Most of you won’t believe me when I tell my sister actually lives at the castle of Hohenwerfen. Long story short, she’s a falconer at the castle and therefore stays there. When I told her that we’d come to Austria she was very happy to invite us over. We all loved it!
In Austria, after a few slides down (and falls), a hot shower and a good cup of coffee, the ladies made us dinner while we visited Luftgekuhlt night to kick of the GP Ice Race event.
GP Ice Race
The GP Ice Race, the name says it all. Racing on ice? that’s right! Ever heard of Skijöring before? Me neither, but it’s cool! A lot of Porsche (and other cars of course), spikes and awesomeness pretty much sums up the GP Ice Race. Let the photos speak for themselves!
